Rosalyn hurried out of the Great Hall and accidentally bumped into Draco. She felt so stupid. She didn't really know what to say, as she fell to the ground. Her face burned a fiery red.
"Damn," she cursed under her breath as she hit the floor and heard a snap.
She tried to pick herself up, but was unsuccessful. She already knew what the snap had come from. Her wand was located in her back pocket, and was now snapped in half.

Draco suppressed his laughter as he heard the remarkable snap. "Watch were you're going next time girly." He teased, a subtile smirk lingering upon his lips, "You might break something more valuable next time."
He bent down, offering her his hand to pull herself up, his cold skin glistening in the minimal light. "So, what are out plans?" He asked, curiosity in his eyes.

Rosalyn started to laugh at herself, as Draco helped her. She wasn't even really worried about the wand. His touch sent an electric shock all throughout her body. One that sent shivers down her spine.
"Well, I need to buy a new wand now. Then I planned on shopping around a bit, or something else. Then it should be about time for lunch. It doesn't really matter what we do. Just wanted to ditch." She smiled at him, thankful that there wasn't a professor around. She didn't need to get detention again. It was bad enough that her parents didn't kill her already.

Draco grimaced, shopping, one thing he never enjoyed unless it happened to be for himself. "Hogsmeade it is then?" He asked, dreading the answer. He knew the highlight of shopping would be the food, and even then Hogsmeade wasn't the flashiest place, never the less there was a chance he'd get something out of it and he didn't want to let that pass idly by.
Sighing he pulled on his robes and tightened his laces, ready to set off walking with her by his side. "Tell me Rosalyne, why'd you ask me of all people to hang out with you?" He knew very well what the answer would have been.

Rosalyn figured this would be a question, she would soon have to answer. It wasn't really a big deal either.
"Well," she said as she pulled her robe tightly around her slim body. "Tim already talked with you, but I suppose it would be better if I told you myself. I think you're really cute and there is just something about you that I'm attracted to."
Rosalyn began to walk toward the door. She used quick sweeping movements. She reached the doors, and opened them. The sun glared in the castle. She smiled as she walked out. The sun shining on her light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Draco listened intently, hearing exactly what he had expected. "Well Tim didn't exactly tell me much." He stated, now following closely behind her. He thought of her like he did any other girl, but he was hit slightly with guild and remorse. He knew like many others she felt more attached to him then he did to her, and he knew that eventually it would all end in tears.
Shaking his head from the thoughts he walked outside, the fresh air hanging lowly. Inhaling he sighed, squinting as the light blinded him in the courtyard. Take charge he surged forward towards the unmistakable path that led to none other than Hogsmeade. It's cobbled body winding down the hill, small shrubbery and burnt grass on either side, occasionally disrupted by sprouting trees and the odd assortment of flowers.
Not once did he look back to her, he simply focused his attention on his feet, looking up every so often to see what was in-front of him.

Rosalyn kept walking. She didn't say anything. She just contemplated what she would say next to him. It was possible that he misunderstood her. It was possible that he thought that she was just attracted to him. It was not the complete truth. She was secretly having frequent "detentions" with Snape. Rosalyn had a thing for older guys.
There was something about Draco, that made her not care about his age. Could it be the fact that she was attracted to his father, and didn't want to be a home-wrecker? Even she did not have the answer to that question.
She decided that it was time to catch up a little with Draco. "You know, Draco. I know how you are. I'm not like these weak-minded little girls. I can handle anything. I mean, bloody hell, I'm just about as much of a Death Eater as your father is."

"Never talk about my fathers business!" Draco snapped, appalled that she would even utter the words. Family business was just that, family. A touchy subject for Draco to talk about in the presence of another aside from at the frequent meetings Voldemort held at the Malfoy Manor.
He trudged onward, slightly irritated but trying not to let his anger get the better of him. No one wanted to seem him infuriated, he terrified himself sometimes with the way he got. It was best that he kept calm and he reasoned with himself to do so. /Change the subject/ he thought to himself, yet he failed to come up with any ideas.

Rosalyn smirked. Apparently she hit a soft spot with Draco, and would have to remember not to ever mention his father, a loud at least, when he was around. She touched his shoulder.
"Draco," she said in a soothing tone. "I didn't mean any harm. I'm...sorry. Let's talk about something else."
She racked her brain for what to say to him, as they left Hogwarts grounds.

Draco shook her hand off his shoulder. "What are you shopping for other than a wand?" He asked, hoping to spark some sort of conversation whether it be enjoyable or not. His cold stern eyes refused to look at her for now, not till he calmed down at least. "And how long do we plan on ditching? All day?" He questioned her more, trying to focus the attention away from himself.

Rosalyn shrugged. She was going to get some stuff from Honeydukes, and buy stuff from Zonko's for pranks. "Well, I had some pranks in mind for a few Gryffindors, so I was going to buy stuff from Zonko's, and I have a sweet tooth right now, so probably get some chocolate frogs or Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans from Honeydukes. Other than that, there isn't really anything else. I only go shopping shopping when I've nothing to do. I don't ditch to do it. That would be a waste of good pranking."
Rosalyn didn't know how long it would take for everything. She took her hand off of Draco's shoulder and messed her hair back, so it wasn't in her face. "As for how long its going to take us, I'm not exactly sure. We'll probably be returning after lunch. Its all up to you though, I guess."

Draco looked over his shoulder roughly, "How's lunch at the Hogs Head sound?" He spoke dully, "My shout." he added sharply. Pranks? What was she playing at, he wondered. Pranks were beyond him, or more so he was beyond them. The time had come and gone and he would have sooner gotten physical or violent then thrown around some stink pellets and such.
Now he stopped, looking around the shabby little village like market before them. "I'll follow you." He said, unsure where she wanted to go first.

Rosalyn walked on. She didn't really want to do anything other than walk. She loved the scenery, but she figured that Draco would be bothered. She didn't want him to feel uncomfortable. "You can apparate right? There isn't a wand shop here in Hogsmeade. I'd have to..." She cut herself off after awhile.

Draco nodded, "Of course I can." He answered the question lightly, "When you asked me to go for a walk I thought we'd be doing something other than shopping." He mumbled it this time. Slowly keeping his pace that little bit behind hers. He had spend the last few moments looking her up and down, observing the way she walked and greedily appreciating her curves.

Rosalyn wanted to spend more than just a little bit of time with Draco. "You know, I think we should go to the shrieking shack instead. I can just write to my mum and have her buy me a new wand. What do you think?"
Rosalyn asked as she walked to a secret path that she took whenever she was ditching to sit alone in the Shrieking Shack. She hoped that he wouldn't disagree with her.

"Sure, whatever." He shrugged, seemingly unamused, "still keen for lunch at the Hogs Head though?" He more so stated the question as if it were a fact. He froze for a moment, standing on the spot, thinking about her suggestion.
The shack was frequently empty, no one would be around and he wasn't one hundred percent sure he could trust her just yet. She didn't seem all that interested in him yet, not the way in which he had thought anyway.
Despite his thoughts he strode onwards once again, dragging his feet so his formal shoes scuffed along the rocks, kicking up dust and whatnot.

"I would like that." Rosalyn said, answering his seemingly stated question toward her. She trudged on up the path. She wanted him to feel welcome. She didn't really know how to explain it, but she wanted to be around him. To learn more about him.
"Draco, is everything...alright? You seem...distant." She didn't know how else to put the question.

Draco gave her a defeated look, pondering whether or not she's believe him if he lied and said he was fine. "Sorta." He whispered, "No, not really. Having some issues with Pansy." It was the first he had spoken of it to anyone and he hoped he wouldn't regret it.
Did he really know her well enough to open up? Well enough to trust her with these things? The possibility was open ended but right now he couldn't care less.

"Would you...like to talk about it?" Rosalyn asked, as she stopped right outside of the Shrieking Shack. She could see something in his eyes. Was he battling with what he thought was trust? She didn't really know, and wouldn't dare be the one to ask. The best she could do was be there for him in his time of need. Which happened to be right then and there.

Silence lingered on the air for a moment fore Draco opened his mouth, "Lets just say one of us wants to settle down and the other's not ready for it." That was the most he planned to give her, nothing more and nothing less. She needn't know and he doubted she really cared. Besides, the point was that he may soon find himself on the market again and the thought of it humiliated him greatly. He had always been seen as a romancer, a genuine casanova with girls at arms length, how would it look if he couldn't even hold onto one of them?

"Well, I'm sorry that Pansy doesn't feel the same way you do, Draco. If you want to settle down, and she doesn't, that's her problem not yours. You don't deserve her. I've heard things about her anyways. You deserve better than that hag." Rosalyn spit after talking about Pansy. She envied everything that Pansy was going to give up.
Rosalyn started to get enraged by the very thought of the things that Pansy had done behind Draco's back. She couldn't stand there anymore. She had to move. She walked into the Shrieking Shack and heard giggling.
Giggling inside my place? Oh no! Rosalyn thought to herself. She started off at a run, not really caring that Draco was behind her or not.
Rosalyn's ferociousness always got the best of her, that's why she had to do it. Rosalyn found the room where the giggling was coming from. She bursted through the door, not caring what would happen to her. Her suspicions were not something she wanted confirmed. However, there was Pansy hugging up on Blaise Zambini, who was also a seventh year Slytherin.

"I never told you who wanted to settle -" He started but was cut off as she took off in front of him. Automatically he followed at his own pace, slowly walking with his head bent low.
It didn't take long till he heard the giggling too. "That laugh..." He muttered to himself. Draco recognized the tone easily, it was one he had heard soo many times before. One that had plastered a smile upon his face for hours on end. Turning the corner he soon laid his eyes upon the scene.
Flesh lay illuminated in the darkness of the shack, fingers entwined, soft lips caressing another's neck. How could she! He thought to himself, emotions welling up inside. He wanted to lash out, to scream! Pain, anger, hurt and rage. All those pent up feelings were just begging to be unleashed.
He soon found himself pushing Rosalyn out of the way, his wand pushed up under Blaise's chin, "You filthy Bastard!" He yelled, pushing him backwards before turning to Pansy, his eyes glowering at her, "I trusted you! I loved you! Your as filthy as the rest!" His tone was savage, his eyes looked as if he could kill. All composure that once resided in him left, flooded him and left him enraged as his heart shattered in two.

"Draco," Rosalyn's soft voice came from right behind him.
"And what am I to think you loved me, with that hag following you around like she is. You've got to be out of your bloody mind." Rosalyn heard Pansy's shriek.
She rolled her eyes and continued to try to calm Draco. "Draco, just settle down. I'll take care of this."
This was something that she could handle with or without a wand. She didn't need magic to fight Pansy. Rosalyn nudged Draco out of the way. "How dare you hurt such a pure soul as his. He gave you his life, and you tear him to pieces like this. You don't deserve him. Hell, you don't even deserve that." She pointed at Blaise.

Draco spun on the spot, "I dont need a woman to fight my battles for me!" he sounded aggravated and took the feeling out on Blaise. His fist came into contact with the boys face, a crunching sound emitting from Blaise's nose. "And you!" He turned to Pansy, pushing past Rosalyn once again, "You best be watching your back, you're as bad as that moodblood Granger and her Blood traitor friends!" He said, shaking his fist, his arm pulled back ready to hit her too.
Thankfully he caught himself before he swung and stormed out, fuming and swearing. How could she? And with someone he considered a friend? How could he have been soo blind? So stupid?!
Alone he sat down with a huff, his elbows lent on his knees, his hands cupping his head. The grass around him covered in due. "Pathetic." He insulted himself. He had never before realized how much the girl had meant to him before.

Rosalyn knew what the right thing to do was. It was to find Draco, and console him. However, her hand was headed somewhere else. Before she could turn around and chase after Draco, Rosalyn's fist met Pansy's face on a more personal note, leaving Pansy a black on in the near future.
Rosalyn stormed off out of the room and Shrieking Shack. She wanted to find Draco now. That was her priority. Nothing else mattered anymore. She didn't know what it was that she could actually do.
She took off at a speedy pace. Calling his name every few steps, hoping soon she would find Draco.

Draco could hear Rosalyn's voice ringing on the wind, but he only limply lifted his head, not speaking a word at all.
He was too outraged. He didn't know what to do. What to say. He just want it to go away, to blow over. Or better, to have it reversed. He shook his head, his fist's clenched, pulling at his blonde hair roughly.
He let out a growling yell, throwing his head back, his eyes stinging yet he wouldn't let himself get upset, angry yes, upset no. Why? Why did he have to go with her? Why did he agree to throw it all away. He would have rather never found out.

Rosalyn heard Draco's growled yell, and rushed over to him. "Draco, I'm truly sorry. I wish we never went there. I wish this was all just a dream, and we're going to wake up and life would be back to the way its supposed to be."
She was a strong Slytherin, but she couldn't help crying. She felt so terrible, that she would do anything to take the events back.

Draco shook his head, "Did you know?" He whispered softly, "DID YOU KNOW!" he yelled louder this time, remember how moments before Rosalyn had been explaining to him how she didn't deserve him.
He didn't look up once, but simply lay himself flat on his back, eyes closed and hands covering his face, hiding any sign of emotion.

Rosalyn put on a strong, almost uncaring expression. "And what if I did know? Are you going to curse me into oblivion?"
Rosalyn felt sorry for Draco. She never knew that Pansy was using her getaway spot, for her romanticisms with Blaise. She knew that she will never forgive herself for bringing Draco with her. She wanted everything to be better for him. She really just wanted to throw herself at him while he was down and vulnerable.

Draco hung his head lower than before, "I don't know what to do." He paused before continuing, "I don't know what to think." He wouldn't let himself cry, he was stronger than that. He had been through worse patches and failed to shed a tear, why should he let the fall over Pansy? When his father had been in Azkaban, his mother and his self didn't shed a tear nor feel the slightest bit of remorse. When Voldemort used their Manor for his own purposes he didn't stress. So why were his eyes stinging and his heart breaking over a pathetic witch.
"I'll kill 'im!" Draco shouted fiercely, letting a single tear drip from the corner of his eye before harshly rubbing his face with his sleeves, leaving his cheeks red and raw, "I'll kill that prat!" He yelled again, perhaps more forcefully than before. We wanted to, he knew he couldn't, but he wished with all his might he could. He wanted the two of them to suffer like he was right now.
