Rosalyn consoled him, by walking next to him and putting her arm around him. "You deserve better than that wench."
She tried to ignore the fact that she saw him rub his eye. Maybe he was just really angry. Rosalyn knew that when she got really angry, she would let a few tears fall. She rubbed Draco's back.
"Look, lets go get some food or something. We can't just sit here. Lunch'll be my treat."

"No no," He protested, "I already said I'll pay." Slowly he got to his feet, his face still red from the rough material on his sleeves.
"I just dont understand you know." He spoke some more, standing still, "She told me she loved me, and after all these years... and with him..."
He couldn't help but blame his father, word must have spread how Lucius had let Voldemort down, and he could tell now that everyone seemed to start thinking the same about him. He didn't know how to prove himself, how to show everyone he wouldn't be a failure like Lucius had been.

Rosalyn stood up and sighed. She was sure that she wanted to just throw herself at him, but she didn't want to give him the wrong impression. He was in pain, which was the best time to do it.
Rosalyn usually did that with guys. She had done it to a few guys in Slytherin, and a few from other houses over the summer. She was a succubus in a way.
"I'm sorry this is all happening to you." She whispered the line, she had repeated over and over again. It never got old, but this time she truly meant it.

"So you keep saying." He sighed, unsure what to do, wanting something to prove he was loveable, something to prove he was worth the breath, that he was better than his father could ever be. From this girl? From Rosalyn? He knew she was easy, he thought it wouldn't be real.
But in all his rage he still managed to stop himself from moving in on her, knowing deep down he would only have done so out of spite, to get back at Pansy. Could he really do that though? With any other girl he normally moved in on them because they sparked interest in him, because he couldn't choose all of them.
He realized he had never been faithful to Pansy, never, and now he knew how she must have felt. He didn't think he could have cared for someone soo much, he never anticipated this pain he felt. He wanted to let it go. To go wild. Anything to drop the stress, to get back at her.

Rosalyn started to walk away. Deep down, she was sure that Draco knew how she was. "You're different you know. Not like these other guys. By now, I would have thrown myself at you. However, I deeply disappointed in my past," She spoke. If it was a lie or not, she couldn't tell. "That I would do anything to make you feel better. I truly mean anything."

Draco watched her walk away, shrugging off her words as if he hadn't heard them at all. Then hastily he grabbed her by her wrist, "I don't know what you're playing at Rosalyn," He hissed, "But you might want to watch were you step. I'm a dangerous person to get close to." He spoke warningly before releasing his tight grip. "I'm sorry, but I had to warn you, not every-thing's sunshine and Rainbows in my world."
He looked away as if ashamed, waiting for her reaction to his serious , waiting for the situation to advance. He looked to the sky, his cold grey eyes scanning the clouds as they slowly rumbled past, the odd grey could lingering amongst the rest.

Rosalyn's hazel eyes seemed to darken as she bored into Draco's. His words did not scare her. She knew that Draco knew nothing about her.
"And you think it is in my world? Well you're damn wrong if you think so! You don't know what its like to live in my world." She spat at him, twisting his arm to force him to let go of hers.
She knew this wouldn't be the way to get a firm grasp next to him, but her past was somewhat a mystery to everyone. She covered it all up with a lie. Her eyes burned a fiery red as she tried to calm herself.

Draco screwed up his face at her, not liking how he was being spoken to. Reluctantly he let go, a vein tensing and pulsing in his forehead. He was already mad, but disrespect would easily push him over the edge.
He spun on his heal, throwing his hands over his head, "I can't win with you girls can I!" Once more they seemed to be going no where. Making a rash decision he strode forward at a fast pace heading towards Hogsmead, whether she followed him or not was up to her but he hadn't plan don waiting up. There was a mug of Malt Whisky waiting at the Hogs Head with his name on it.

Rosalyn followed closely behind Draco. She realized that for the second time today, she had hit a soft spot with him. "Draco, if you would please just wait. I didn't mean to snap at you. I want a chance to get to know you. The real you."
Rosalyn knew that she was in the wrong in saying what she did. She knew that there would be repercussions to her actions. She was expecting questions, a smirk even, but not a brooding little boy with pent up problems.

Draco scowled, "Well what the hell do you expect? You take me somewhere were I see my girlfriend with another guy! You try to fight my battle for me! And then you flip out when I'm trying to look out for you!" He exclaimed, enraged, turning to face her.
Breathing heavily he tried to sooth his nerves. Thinking himself foolish. He just wanted out, and fast.

A single tear fell down her face. She hadn't let a single tear fall down her face, since she found out that one of the members of the order killed her father. She took a deep breath.
"Draco, there are things about my past that I cover up to everyone." Her hazel eyes softened finally. "There just are some people you can't trust, you know? I find that in most people. If nothing else, you deserve to have a friend who knows the truth, other than someone who has known it since it happened, because that person doesn't know how it is. That person never had a parent of their's taken from them, no matter how long they were gone."
This was the most that she'd opened up to anyone. She didn't really think that she could ever do such a thing, for anyone. Tim knew everything, yeah. That was just the point though, he didn't know how it felt to be like her.
"I need a drink!" Rosalyn said as she shook her head, feeling ashamed of herself for saying such words out loud.
She stalked off closer to the Hog's Head.

Draco listened, simply watching her over his shoulder, a smirk on his face. Bingo, he had gotten the reaction from her that he had given her many times this evening. He nodded, showing that he was listening, pitying her to say the least. Her family had died yes, he family had killed, betrayed and more. She lived in the shadow of death, as did he, just on the other end, and he began to doubt that she realized just how similar the two were.
He watched her stalk of in frustration just like he had moments ago, and for a second her found himself staring at her with greed.
Shaking his head he ran after her, walking slightly in front of her before stopping her in the middle of the path. His shaking hands seized both of her arms and he looked at her face for a moment, "You've got beautiful eyes when you're angry you know." He said, his skin now reverting back to it's cold pale self.
He had always known how to shut a woman up, how to please the opposite gender. And he knew this one needed to calm down before either her or himself made a rash action they would soon regret.

Rosalyn was startled by his shaking hands, suddenly cold on her body. It was not the first time their bodies had come in contact with one another, but this time, it sent a new sensation through hers. She had to have him, no matter the cost.
She shook her head of the thoughts, before replying to Draco's words. She was in great shock to hear these words coming out of the God of Slytherin's mouth.
"Thank you. I still need a drink though." She gave him a half smile that barely touched her eyes. "Shall we keep going, and talk more about this over lunch?"

Draco let her go slowly, running the tips of his fingers down her arms before turning away and heading towards their goal once more. He pondered his actions questioning himself, wondering why he could change his mood on her soo easily. Why he wanted to tease her, only to cave and give in at the climax of an argument.
Was it lust? Or simply cheek? He knew he would never be an item with her, but the thought of a fling was riveting.
It didn't take long before Draco stumbled into the warmth of the Hogs Head, the old wooden smell was comfy despite the down-class the shabby place had compared to the normal places he went. It's curtains were bland and bleak, and the lights flickered from time to time, "And they call this a tavern?" He asked himself aloud, taking a seat at an empty table almost as soon as he had walked in the door.

Rosalyn followed quickly to sit at the table with him. "This place is a bloody mess, but then again they serve some damn good food."
Her eyes softened. She knew exactly what would calm her mood, a pint of Firewhiskey. She knew it would make her a little...wild, to say the least. However, she knew it would calm her nerves to the fullest extent.
"You know, Draco..." She cut herself off. She had no reason to say anything more. She was lost for words, staring into his deep, bottomless eyes.

Draco looked up, rubbing the palms of his hands over his stomach as it rumbled with starving protest. No one called him by his first name other than his parents, and it felt awkward each time she uttered his name. "Yes?" He asked quizzically, his eyes now looking away from hers and scanning a stained parchment titles 'Menu'. ooc: Writers block, sorry doll

"Well, I was going to ask...if you did this often." Rosalyn asked, biting her tongue. She figured it might be the wrong question to ask, after the Pansy incident.
She grabbed a menu and peered at it. She skimmed it for what she wanted to eat. There was very little that seemed appetizing to her. She found what she wanted though and put the menu on the table, waiting for Draco.

"Did what?" He asked cluelessly, his eyes still scanning over the menu before him, his nose turning up at the bland food he saw, defiantly not as classy as what he had come accustomed to.
Laying the flimsy paper down he said, "I'll just have a drink, I'll nick some food of Goyle or Crabb. Knowing those lard bucket's they'll have leftovers." He immediately chuckled to himself, a masking shadow thrown over his eyes. He looked to her again, the expression soothing, wondering what she would order for herself.
He could feel a thud on the tip of his shoe as he moved his feet, his own colliding gently with hers like a game of tag. Shyly he looked away.

Rosalyn thought it an accident, Draco's foot tapping her own. However, she felt a slight urge to nudge him back while she spoke.
"Went out to eat and such."
Rosalyn thought to herself, what she would do if this were any other boy. Then again she thought to herself what wouldn't she do if this was any other boy. She smiled gently at her own assessment, and simply started to play with her light brown locks.

Draco paused for a moment, considering his answer before the words flowed out into the open. In all honesty he for once thought before he spoke, wanting to sound less foolish then he was bound to. The fact was it wasn't often he agreed to go to lunch with anyone unless they were somewhat important. Otherwise he would settle for the warmth inside the walls of the Great Hall and eat the delectable food there. "You could say that." He smirked, not giving to much away, "Although this isn't my ideal place." A grimace fell across his face as he watched a rather dankly and shabby looking witch stumble into the bar, her hair a black nest and her face ridden with growths.
Quickly he averted his gaze to who looked like a waiter, now standing by their table, a quick-notes-quill hovering above some scrapped parchment next to him. "What do you want?" He asked, his tone droned on dully and he ran his bulbous hands through his greasy brown hair. "Just a Fire Whisky for me thanks. And, well Rosalyn what would you like?" He turned to Rosalyn, hoping she would remember it was his shout and that was that.
He watched her intently, waiting for her to order, for her lips to part and that sweet feministic tune to pour from them like a fountain. The same what he had watched multiple of his other female counterparts.

Rosalyn smiled her beautiful smile at Draco. She turned her head to the slimeball that was their waiter. "I...I'll have the same."
The waiter rolled his eyes and walked away. "I know it's your treat, but I don't think that I could have him touching my food. They must do something about him. Its a bloody shame that he works here." She said aloud. She continued her sentence under her breath, "Wish I had a bloody wand. I'd take care of him myself. Piece of filth."
She looked around the tavern, and noticed a few people. Some were members of the Order, some where just civilians. If only the civilians knew of the things that their precious Order was capable of. One of the members of the Order looked over at the table where Rosalyn and Draco were sitting. Rosalyn stared the member in the eye.
Without moving her lips much, she spoke to Draco, in a hushed tone. "That's the Order member that murdered my father."
The flames shot back into her eyes. Hopefully, Draco would try to keep her under control, because she would most likely end up committing a murder, if he didn't.

Draco followed her gaze, glowering at the man she stared at One of the fools who had his father thrown into Azkaban. "Leave the prat be. He'll get what's coming to him." Draco snapped, noticing the same look in her eyes as before.
He knew for a fact that when it came down to it, this Order member was at the top of his fathers list, and most defiantly on Voldemorts. The discussions held at the Malfoy Manor had come in handy with things like this
He grabbed Rosalyn's hand, pulling her up, threw a few sickles at the bar keep for his troubles, and attempted to drag her out of the dreary tavern, hoping to avoid confrontation or the possibility of havoc breaking out. Today was not the day for fights and if need be he'd happily break it up, no matter who he harmed when doing so.

Rosalyn gave in, and let Draco pull her out of the tavern. "I'm so sorry. I let my anger get the best of me. Its been a couple years."
She couldn't hold it in anymore. She started to bawl. She hated for Draco to see her like this at anytime, but especially now. She couldn't control the thoughts running through her head, but she had to at least try.
You're a Slytherin. Slytherin's don't cry. The Dark Lord would be appalled by the way you're acting. I would abhor being alive right now, seeing you like this. You're such a sissy. I raised you better than that. Her father's voice came into her head, he spoke the same words to her that he had spoke a fortnight before his death.
She quickly straightened up and wiped her eyes. She took a deep breath in and concentrated. "I am sorry, Draco."

Draco watched the tears fall from her eyes, listening intently as she spoke. Once she had finished he whipped a few drops she had missed, mopping up her tear stained cheeks with the cuffs of his shirt. "I can understand why you'd be angry." He spoke softly, kindly.
"I fail to see why one of those prissy prats would be capable of murder though." He added sharply, doubting their abilities.

Draco was correct. That specific member was going to get what they deserved. Rosalyn was plotting their demise in her own head. Though, if Draco weren't there, she'd be captured for what she truly were. She would be sent to Azkaban, or worse...killed.
"Lets go somewhere else, if you want to." She said in a small voice, trying to calm herself.

Rosalyn followed after him. "Will you tell me something, please?"
Maybe it was all in her head, but she thought that Draco was just trying to get away from her. Like he wanted to be around the guys. It was okay, but she didn't really want to go back just yet. She couldn't face Tim.

He stopped, turning around to face her, "Yeah, what?"
Thoughts buzzed around his head, wondering what she'd be talking about, what she wanted to know so much. As he thought his eyes remained on her, looking at her sincerely as he waited for the questions to hit him.
The wind picked up a little, toying with the strands of his white-blonde hair, pulling and pushing it into his face, into his view.

"Please, I don't care how much it hurts, just tell me the truth." Rosalyn said, putting a half smile upon her face.
She was ready. It came as a shock at how willing she was to say the words she happened to be thinking, so clearly.
"Tell me, please. If it is meant to be, you and I. If not, I'll stop pursuing you. However, I would always like to be your friend."

Draco paused before speaking up, his eyes averting her look, her gaize, "I... I don't know." He muttered. He was unsure what to say, unsure what would be good and what would be bad, how to put his thoughts into verbal words.
"I like you... But I dont think we could ever..." He paused again, trying not to muddle up his words, "I don't think we could ever become an item." He wasn't sure what to do, how to prove that he was still interested in her. He couldn't, he felt so confused, soo bad, guilt crushed down on his shoulders.
"I've had my eye on another person you see... Someone I could feel more committed to on another level... a more balanced one." Draco thought he'd be the last person to be talking about relationships so seriously, "were as with you... I think it would be more on a physical level." He took a step forward, taking her hand, "I'm really sorry Rosalyn, you've got to believe me."
